FOR BLINDS MOUNTED INSIDE THE WINDOW OPENING
1. Measure the width inside the window opening at the top, middle, and bottom. The top dimension is important because the headrail needs to fit. Record the actual measurement of the shortest width to the nearest one eighth of an inch. The factory will take appropriate deductions to allow for installation clearance. Do NOT take deductions on the inside mount dimensions.
2. Measure the height inside the window opening at the center. Record the actual dimension to the nearest one eighth of an inch. Do NOT take deductions.
3. Record the depth of the window opening to the nearest eigth of an inch. This dimension is necessary so that the factory can position the slats under the headrail at the right position for your window.
FOR BLINDS MOUNTED OUTSIDE THE WINDOW OPENING
1. Measure the desired height and width. For privacy and light control, the blind should overlap the window opening by at least 2" on each side and at the bottom. The factory will NOT take deductions, or make additions. Please record the width and height desired for the blind.
2. Please take care to ensure that there are no obstructions in the overlap area such as knobs, moldings, bookcases, furniture, etc.
